1.62 gears? A worked 30P Bravo1 with dual pvs holes by Mark Croxton.
Even with the pad I'd say with a sportmaster.

I agree with Mike on Props, but I'd say 1.5-1.75" above pad with a sporty.
I had a 21XRD with the same prop and motor, and ran it at 1.75"
If you're running a 14" jackplate you probably can run 1.5" above pad for fishing with the Bravo or Hydromotive OB lV If you're talking about running lite for top end a 32 pitch performer 3 blade 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" above pad. Watch and be sure you have at least 12 psi water pressure wot AND when making turns on the water.
I fish with a 30 Bravo at 1.25" above (propshaft to pad not nosecone to pad) and my topend wheel is a 30 Performer 4 BC at 1.75" above.
