    Dilema

Ok here is what I got. If you can see I am going from a 2.5 and I had put the 2 hoses mounting in front of the rear shield.

Thing is the XS motors only have one inlet for your controls and riggin. I need to figure out what to do? Out of the hole normally used for all the rigging I have the lines for my steering and hydo plate. then the other 2 are used for the rest, I can use one and put a oil fill in it I guess, but and wondering how it would look with only one tube coming form the area it is at now? not sure I am going to like it at all!!!!

    What do you suggest?

    I think I'd do the oil fill/cap.

i would have 2 custom covers machined with a pattern in it to look like a vent. Then I would powdercoat black. I would keep them uniform so that it doesn't look like an after thought.

Then I would rig motor as typical. You could go with the oil fill but I am all about balance personally

Cost...DaddyChat is big time with the XS going on the back.

John...I like the thought you have about the two PC'd tank fills...I think that would look great.

    Re: Dilema (Daddychatham)

When I was at his house Sunday there were some finger prints on it. So it was a little dirty. Then he asked when I want to go for a ride. In about 1 year is my answer. He should have enough seat time by then.

    Very funny

For your information, I put in at Black Creek yesterday morning and ran all the way to the city docks in Palatka.

I drove it pretty good once I got the motor up on the plate.

get the hose kit cowling part and install on XS so both tubes can be used (think they have it because of the 2-3-4-5 engine kits on offshore boats) use one for typical hoses and other for oil lines and or battery cables etc. just a thought

    Re: Dilema (2500)

Measure the holes and I can make you some cool covers for that and have em powder coated.
