My last two boats had black seats. As hot as it gets here color does not matter in this heat. Its not any worse than grey to me. besides my boat is 75% black anyway its not like I ain't gonna fry anyway.....

I have the older style seats. To my understanding, the original mfgr in TN charges in the neighborhood of $200.00 each to redo.

I went by Leading Edge Marine Interiors and talked to owner Lenny Bean about this seat recovering. He buillds the seats for Bullet Boats. He said he could redo a pair for $300 more or less depending on whether he can reuse any of the fabric on the original. Such as you wanting a totally black seat and part of it it already black.
Lenny is a nice guy and does carpet and total interior on a lot of types of boats.

Loudon is about 20 miles south of Knoxville off I-75

I talked to Tom at Bullet Boats last week and he said they have carpet replacement kits for 450$ for 20 XD and Lenny will be doing mine and building me new style seats this winter.

    Re: (SNUFFY)

Thanks Snuffy. I've been trying to put a deal together on a bullet that needs the seats redone. They're not bad, just a little frayed and worn where you sit. the backs and maybe the back rest part is ok. Thanks again
