    200 PRO XS

I have a 09 zx 200 skeeter with a 200 HPDI series 2. Motor is only 4 months old. Would like to get rid of motor and repower with a 200XS. What all would be involved? Any of you guys ever traded a motor in? If so did you take a big loss on trade? Is an outboard hard to sell outright?? Anyone know the price on a 200 Pro XS? thanks

Re: 200 PRO XS (CADDO SKEETER)

You are likely to take a pretty good hit on the HPDI. Selling it outright is probably going to be the "least painful" option (in regards to your wallet).

To change to the 200 ProXS, you'll need a keyswitch and harness, throttle/shift cables, LIKELY a shift control box, and an oil tank kit (at a minimum). I'd also recommend a Smartcraft Instrument, and you MAY need to reprop.

The 200 ProXS has an MSRP of $15,428. You can, however, find them for well below that price. Just keep in mind.... dealers are CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to rig the engine and perform a Pre-Delivery inspection (they can't just ship you an engine in a box).
