    What Prop?

Heys guys want to get a spare prop for my 21xdc with the simon 250 xs.I live in washington and do some tournaments over on the east side in the higher elevations. Have a 27p hydro 4 blade right now and wanted to know what kind of three blade to get that will run good on either side of the mountains . Thanks

Guessing you have a T master with 1:75's?? WHat rpms are ya turning the 27 Hdro, what is your h2o at WOT?? What speeds are ya getting??

I would think a 26-28 3 blade Performer from Billy at Performance propeller.

Have you tried a 28-30 Bravo 4 blade yet??

27-28 TXP with pvs holes drilled for a 3 blade. The HM Quad4XOB/Bravo1 with dual pvs holes is a tough fishing prop to beat.

    IMHO,
If it is just a spare get a used trophy....if your looking for a good/ speed performer/ fishing prop or a bravo 1 (w/dual holes add some cup and let er eat)

I would guess 1.62's with that pitch on a Simon. Eric says that they should be proped from 5600 to 6100. I can turn a 27 to 6100 with 1.75's on a stock 250xb. Kind of curious what speeds you are seeing also. I'm building a similar motor! Chris1978 has the same setup as you 21xdc simon 250.

    Yup I am running a 21xdc (XT Haul) with a Simonized 250efi

Eric has advised me that the best proping is for 5500-6100rpms.

I have the 1.62 gears in a sporty LU.

Best setup I have had thus far is a 27tempest 1.25 above the pad for 88mph (2 guys in the boat full tourny load, livewell fiiled & center tank filled only....plus 5 dinks in the well...lol)

I still have a lot of messing to do, but I have been directed by the great people on here to try out a few over hub props, as all the through hub (tempest, bravo, hydro, trophy) I have tried just don't get me the speed.

As a side not I have gone as large as a 30pitch right down to 21pitch.

Now I have a perfoermer 30p 4 blade bullet cut all lined up for when the ice is out, but can you guys talk to me about the ET's ??? Should I go that route?
