    Suggestion for options 21XRDC

    I am working with some dealers on ordering a new 21XRDC. Lou made a comment that got me to thinking;

    Lou said---{{{Remember put anything on there from factory that would be a pain later!!! i:e riging tubes, bezzels, delux giages, up graded plumbing}}}

I won't post the long list I have, just curious what options and suggestions you Bullet owners would do if ordering a new Bullet.

Well how much money you have to spend? I can get REAL expensive REAL quick if you want me to bling out a boat

It adds up real quick when you want to start adding the bling. Some guys like to buy a boat to fish out of and don't go all out and stick with basics. Do you have a budget #

No budget for me.........the marital financial advisor does, but she only gets 49% of the vote

Already have the engine, can go a little more for the boat

Marital Financial advisor I am glad my wife has no idea what she is looking at when she is in my boat. If she knew how to put a price on some of this stuff it would be game over

Your going with a yamaha correct?

Re: Suggestion for options 21XRDC (Hydrilla)

Yep, going the yammie route. I know the powder coat bill will be large, also rigging needs to be excellent.
Tell me about gauges, plumbing, fishing friendly ideas, etc. Tackle storage, battery storage?? Lou mentioned once about putting the TM batteries where the port saddle tan goes. Things like that are ideas I would like to have.
    How much set back??
    Transducers???

My personal opinion would be things such as no speedo because you normally have a GPS and the speedo pick-up just doesn't work for long so it's a waste.I'd go Smartcraft.I prefer no center seat for people to step-in,I like the carpeted cooler lid.Get an extra O-Chit handle next to the passenger seat(right side). This is just a few things I can think of right now other than the bling that you get from:
    http://www.billetboatproducts.com. Hope this helps.

Re: Suggestion for options 21XRDC (craigs06)

Upgrade the livewell system to a flowrite.
Like Lou said.... Make sure it is rigged right the first time as long as budget will allow. Much easier to do it up front than trying to go back and changing, covering, etc.

Pick your depth finder before hand and have the transducer installed when they build it (makes it easier on the rigging but can still be done later).

Get the gauges that you want up front. Be it Command Link (Yamaha's smart gauges), Livorsi, Nordskog, etc.

Billet boat products has some great looking and very functional stuff too.

Let me know if we can help you in any way!

Re: Suggestion for options 21XRDC (mercury97)

Colors?? Hate to say until it's built, will be hard to grasp the effect. Did some experimenting on a cad machine to "see" before I order. All my vehicles are black, so black it is. Offer any opinions, but I am known to be hard-headed.

    Black gel bottom and sides
side accent black with hugger orange flake
hugger orange Bullet logo (this puppy is expensive!! Got to have it, tho)
    black rub rail
    top cap black
    top accent sand w/orange flake
    hugger orange pins everywhere
    sand carpet
hugger orange upholstery with sand and black accents/inserts
hugger orange on all bezels, billet grab handles, tool holder, rod holders and anything else possible
hugger orange steering wheel and shift handle if I can find one
    tour 82 TM
    trailer black w/orange pins
    hugger orange rapidjack TP

    I have a brand new 997 c2 SI
