Caddo Lake Help

I will be heading to Shreveport tomorrow for the Classic. I would like to fish caddo lake friday for the first time. I will be launching at Earl G. Williamson park on hwy 1 in oil city. I have never fished caddo but printed out a map. I see it goes into texas. I want to stay in LA. Is there decent fishing around the launch? I know this is a slot lake just need any helpful hints on areas to concentrate on. Any certain baits I should throw. Is there somewhere that would be easier to launch and fish? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I wouldnt fish it with a north wind at 20. B careful and they aint biting really also. Know way too many guys taking 1 to 3 fish days out there
