ok sombody please school me on what a pellet boat is? im just about ready to buy a nice new older boat its on la sportsman and craigs list says its a 20-21 ft i think with a 200 on it for 6500 thats about as much as i got to find a boat anybody know anything about it

that's some homemade thing... I'd gues the guy that built it, his name is probably pellet or Pelletier...I wouldn't touch it...

With a 6500 budget I would be looking at older model Rangers and Champions.
My buddy just sold a 96 181 for 8K and I swear it was cleaner than my 06 Check out the classifieds on Louisiana Sportsman. Been seeing some nice ones

Hey pirate I got a buddy of mine selling his boat. He's asking 8500 for it but he'll probably take around 7 grand if you talk to him. If interested lemme know. I'm on a iPhone so I don't think I can receive IM'S

Stay away from it. You can find older boats that you know are well built for 6000. Be patient and wait for the right one. Trust me, getting in a hurry will get you burnt.
