Not a bad deal, I sold my 02 SX200 with an Old Merc 2.5 last year for 13K, Great fishing platform that will run around 68-72 with tha right prop
PS.. Those OX66s are by far one of the most reliable motors ever built, and thats a FACT!
I had a blazer with the ox66, they are indestructible and powerful, reliable, and I thought had great gas mileage. That seems to be a good price, he's not asking much more than what it's worth, do be scared , buy it if you like it. Skeeters have huge front decks , not as food a boat as a cat though......
Benny, that is a slick rig. As for the asking price, someone above said it right when they said it isn't much above value depending on usage and up close condition.

Yup.
I had the ox66 on a Rocket back in the day. It saw more marsh mud and sand than a mud boat and never missed a beat. 100% bulletproof.

Benny, if the motor runs good, i would buy it. I had a 225 that was trouble free for 5+ years and i ran the crap out of it.They are great motors.
If you like it, buy it. And you can tell us you got it for 10K.

A couple of you guys asked about it if I didnt buy it so I just thought I'd let yall know!
Well I didnt go ckeck on this boat but I talked to someone who did and he said this:
Yes. It ran well, but had to be jumped to start it, as the batteries were bad. It was not as cosmetically sound as he lead on to believe but nothing major it appears to be wrong. I've requested he provide a psi compression test on the motor, as he was not able to do while at the lake.
Also, the trailer has some pretty good rust spots, and so does the trolling motor. The prop has some knicks, and the hull had some very small gel coat chips / digs. Since the batteries were bad, I was not able to test the trolling motor, which kinda pissed me off. He claims the t-motor functions, but it's got so many rust spots, I'd buy a new one.
The stuff that must be fixed , are the prop, batteries (3) and possibly the trolling motor. Everything else that's "wrong" is mostly cosmetic. With that said, I've set the price at $12k pending the motor check. I have some pics if you want to see them.

I would also ask about when the last time the water impeller was changed as well as plugs and filters. did you fill the livewells and see if the work properly ? also check and see if the onboard charger works being that the batteries were dead.
