I fish a tournament on yesterday out of Ameila. I should have followed my 1st plan - Go to the Union \ Oxy Oil field area. Made the run to Bayou Black - Yep! High and very muddy. While making the run I got to use my new Navionics card (gold). All I can say is that it is a big difference from a Lowrance. It takes some getting use to. The gold showed pretty much everything I needed to see.

Thats good news if so. BTW, you dont have to go there to see the data. Just put the unit in demo mode and move to where you want to go/see.

Now there u go. All I did was brought me a map card - that is all cuz. The humminbird unit i have is a 787c2. That's not the latest and greatest. I want to learn what I have before I go wasting money. Beside I am very broke, I can't afford no power pole man.
