SOOOOO The wife got attacked by a pitbull yesterday

She screamed for me so loud I felt it clear to my bones!!!! She kept the Trash off our Jack Russel and it was hanging from her elbow when she made it on the porch where I was with my 20ga Needless to say I could not find the shells but that dog pissed when it saw(smelled) my Raging Anger
Why do people have to own a dog that is NOT used to people/animals I don't care what breed....just a Pitbull seems to be the flavor of ignorance lately....Wasn't long ago...Rots...Pinchers....Sheppards...Akitas...etc If you make it mean(untrustable) maybe YOU should be in a pen?

Rant not over yet...New neighbors didnt even come and apologize or check on my wife Just the punk son telling me it was a $1000.00 dog Closest I have come to just beating a human (term loosely used) to death I was already out of my head with the dog....Deputy took the dog....My wife is in a lot of pain today...We are trying to be better people But we may have to go to the Dr to see what is not visible

The heck with being the better person. Go to the Dr ASAP then call a lawer I have no respect for someone with a dog they can't control!!

I hope she is ok Mike....I have owned one Pit and 3 Akitas, still have one Akita, and the Pits are dangerous in the wrong hands. I would have killed that dog.

I would recommend going to the Doc for sure. I would hate for her to have long term issues cause some idiot doesn't know how to take care of their dog. I will pray for her speedy recovery.

On a side note, a pit bull latched onto my miniature schnauzer's neck 2 years ago. A firm boot to the ribs ended the attack but the owner was a complete half wit. He tried to say they were "playing". The blood coming from my dog's neck didn't confirm this stupid story. I called the cops and they told me to shoot the dog should it come back to my place.

Sorry to hear that Mike, hope the wife is ok. I would make them put that dog down if i was you and get a lawyer. why people would have a dog like that i just can't figure out, they need alot of training and must never be trusted off a leash.

One of my customers son had a pit, it killed 2 dogs on the same street and after the second the dog was put down and the son is being sued.

Well again....I didn't want to come off as the "here's our chance" and really am pissed that they did not come over when they got home to check the "damages" All the neighborhood heard my wife screaming MICHAEL in a tone I do not want to hear again!!!!!!!!!!! The punk twerp was like what did you do to make it bite you.....I almost came off the porch....
I could not be walking around in my yard as if nothing happened when my dog hurt someone else...I would be enslaved and insisting to help in any way possible....Guess I am truly a minority

The thing is " He never has acted that way before" That is usually the line from PB owners right up till they kill a kid or something. I hope you wife is doing better and I would prosecute to the full extent of the law...whatever that may be these days.

Mike-I agree with the others who say to take her to the hospital and get a lawyer. If you don't, these idiots will still operate in the same idiotic mode they are in now. They need to be taught a lesson IMO. Not too long ago my neighbor saw me pull up and came down the street crying and told me her grandson had been attacked by a pit bull. Can't remember if he was 7 or 8 yrs. old. She needed a ride to the hospital which was 30 miles away so I took her. The young boy had over 200 stitches and had to have part of his ear sewed back on. The police put the dogs down but the damage was already done.

Same thing the Deputy said....20ga shells were found last night and its a quick clip snapped in and action ready I don't have young kids, but I still concern myself with an active loaded gun near the back door...

Pistol/lock box is on my Christmas list

I dunno about that I am feeling the high road is too high for me on this one...I am in Atlanta and the wife is hurting and said she doesn't want to let the dog out....she really is freaked out over the "baby" right now.....That dog is sooo far up her azz it ain't funny....Lexi must be feeling like a cat right now...one life down

Sorry to hear this happened Mike. If I didn't have anything the shoot the dog with I think I would have choked the dog out. One way or another the POS owner would have been carrying a dead dog home. I hope there is nothing major wrong with Connie and she make a full recovery.

You have the right to protect your property. Sue the POS's and pocket the money and make it clear if the dog comes on your property again it is dead.

Hate to hear that...my step daughter was attacked last year while she was jogging in there neighborhood.....caught her on the leg and arm and just so happend a guy was driving by and had to beat the dog off of her and then took her to her dads house....went to hospital and had stiches put in....the sad thing was that the owners took the dog to someone else's house after that happened and claimed it wasnt his dog and didnt have one....well a few weeks later he brought the dog back and she called the sheriff dept and they went to check on it....in a nutshell NOTHING was done about the dog or owner and supposedly it wasnt the first time this has happened with someone out walking...

Sad thing is I know its not the dogs (breed) fault...I have met many that are baby's But this one lives in a pen and is not getting attention (being around humans) Breeding has gone uncontrolled due to the gangsta's stance of a dog dragging a tree pullers chain
