    ESPN BCS Expert Brad Edwards!

Just got through saying what I said earlier... that LSU may be so far ahead in the computer rankings that even if they were to lose, that they may only drop to #2.

Arkansas' computer ranking is only #4.

he said "unless pretty much EVERY voter would move Arkansas ahead of LSU, there is a possibility that LSU may end up stil in the #2 spot"

just noticed what a weak ass out of conference schedule Arkansas played this year. Troy, New Mexico, Missouri St., and Texas A&M..

Couple that with the fact that they had a couple of squeakers against Vandy, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, and it doesn't look good for them passing up LSU.

Even if LSU would lose, they still would be the SEC WEST Champs and play in the SEC Championship cause they beat BAMA and Bama beat ARK. So your telling me a One loss SEC Champion wont make the NC?? But you beleive a one loss team from the Sec West that wont play in the SEC Championship Game should be in the NC????

Dont Matter, LSU gonna WHOOP ARKY.

Re: ESPN BCS Expert Brad Edwards! (DLAB)

Dlab if Lsu loses they could depending on score fall behind Arkansas in bcs! If that happens bama would be west champion and play UGA. I personally don't think Lsu will lose to the hogs but if they do they could be sitting home watching Bama and Arkansas! Bama could lose to auburn and we could see Arkansas and ok St

OSU only dropped 2 spots because they are still ranked #2 in the computer polls.

Why do you think that is? Cause Oregon, OU and Clemson lost

If you really think that, then I'm not sure what to say !!

so you are saying that in the computers, that Clemsen, OU, and Oregon would be ahead of OSU if they would have won? The only one that would have had a chance was OU. Arkansas and Bama both won and they are STILL BEHIND OSU IN THE COMPUTERS.

COMPUTER RANKINGS LOVE THE BIG 12!!! PERIOD. Definitely not Oregon (#11) and definitely not Clemsen (#17)

    here are the computer averages..

    #1 LSU
    #2 OSU
    #3 Bama
    #4 Arkansas
    #5 KANSAS STATE!!!!!
    #6 OU
    #7 VaTech
    #8 Boise St
    #9 Stanford
    #10 South Carolina

So you know what that tells me??? that since Oklahoma St and LSU were TIED last week in the computers, and OSU lost to an UNRANKED Iowa St team, and only dropped to #2 in the computer rankings, it would only make sense that if LSU were to lose to a top 5 team (Arkansas), then they may even stay #1 in the computers, but defenitely no further in the computers than #2.

Ok Doug. I give up.. there is no talking sense to you.. but I will ask you one question...and answer it to the best of your abilities..

Why is OSU still ranked in the computers ahead of Arkansas and Alabama?

so by your logic, (Oregon or Oklahoma would be ahead of OSU in the computers if they would have won), that would also mean that Oregon and Oklahoma would have to be ahead of Bama and Arkansas in the computers.

keep in mind, Bama was #3 in the 'puters last week, and Oregon and OU were tied at #4.

OSU lost on the road in OT. Bama lost at home in OT and was favored just like OSU, So if OSU wins out they might jump Bama, gonna come down to the voters and there are several that will not 2 SEC teams in if at all possible..

Sitting at home, wishing we were there! Heck.. West Monroe could probably beat Tulane this year!

Of course, without a playoff, a non-AQ will never legitimately get a shot. If Boise wouldn't have lost that game, they would STILL be sitting at #4 or #5.
