Well, a while back, I put her for sale when I had a computer go out on my 260 and then the carrier bearing backed out so I needed another lower unit housing. Also chipped my fiberglass and two tires lose their cords internally. I ended up selling the 260 powerhead, the mid section and the Mariner cowlings. I had alot of interest in just the boat and after wanting to drink some kool aid, I decided to keep her as the price of the new kool aid was too high. So I had a chip get fixed and the top cap wet sanded and buffed by Doug. I found a 97 225 Promax that is in great shape and still had the oil injection on it. That was the first thing removed. I just replaced the striped stickers on the motor with one's to match my boat. The orange, yellow, and red just didn't look right. She is done for now but will be getting the trailer redone this winter.
