    Wire Gauge

I am thinking of moving my batteries to in front of my center console, about a 20ft run back the the engine, a 2003 225 EFI. Will 4 gauge wire be enough for that distance or should I go bigger? My concern about going to big is that there is not much room under at the engine to hook up the pos wire..
    Thanks!

    Incorrect!

16-20 ft runs require 2 gauge cables.

20-24 ft runs require 0 gauge cables.

    Re: Wire Gauge (EuropeanAM)

Thanks! I'd rather have to big a gaige of wire then not enough.. I figure the run is a lot less the 20, but I will run 20 of 2G to give me some play..
    Thanks again!!!
