Quantum Smoke

Anyone got these reels. I broke a revo last week and am gonna replace it with a Quantum. I like them and they cast a country mile, but dont know if i need to get another PT Tour or if the Smoke will perform with them

yes i have em and they are a nice reel, although i along with quit a few other people had problems with the first ones out not getting lubed properly from the factory and screaming like a bobcat in heat!!!!! i chose to take mine apart and lube it myself and all is fine! all things considered i will probably give the nudge to my revo's

Me too. I bought a smoke back in November and love it. I had a few quantum's before that was not worth a chit but they have done their homework on this reel.

I just sold my smoke. I'd rather the Revo. I replaced it with a lews and hands down the lews smokes it

I'm a revo man hands down. However my wife bought me my first curado and WOW. I def could see myself buying more. Never tried or know anyone that tried the smoke.
If you guys want to sell yalls revos let me know. I'll take them off your hands.

I agree with Sushi. The Lew's is badazz!!!! I have a Smoke and it's nice but aint like a Lew's. I am a Shimano man myself but the Lew's is the chit. Do yourself a favor and check em out. And believe me, I've had em all.

I dont have a smoke but I think I have almost one of everything in their pt series. If the smoke is as good as the energys, its got to one hell of a reel. Ive got 4 energy pts,kinetic,2 catalyst,2 catalyst pts,reax,and energy ss. Can you tell I like quantum

I am a Quantum man myself, but my gang bought me 2 Curados for fathers day, Can't wait to try them out. Anyone try the Smoke rods yet?

JoeyP I am the same way with quantum. I had a revo and it wasn't very durable, a couple of guys that I know have had them go down as well

I have 5 revo SX's and have never had a problem with any of them so far. Started buying them the first year they came out. My brother also has 5 or 6 and no issues with his either. My dad on the other hand, bought a Revo S and within a year, the worm gear and pawl gear had done went out in it, and he only fishes about 5-10 times a year. and I just remembered he gave me that reel but i have no clue what I did with it now.

BIL just bought one of them Lewe's and that sucker is slicker than greased owl chit.
