    bayou black/water condition

    got a club tournament in 2 weeks,looking for area's to put in hat,what 's the water level and condition around bayou black,thank

    I would stay away from Bayou Black. The water is not too high now, but it is expected to rise. There is soo much water moving through the area, I can't imagine the fishing being worth a darn. Somebody told me at the barge they sunk in the Chein, there is a 2 foot difference in water level.

    Thursday of last week they had a foot and a half difference. Some people are saying it's working good.
