Passed 2 of them boats today i cant pass while running across grassy lake with Lee and tina in the boat. There was only 1 footers so i kow the ride could been the issue but sure was funny watchin them trimmin up while lee was waving at them. But then Jimmy Sylvester past us all in his new Erya with 250 merc and he's only getting 85-86 out the merc

So is it just an understood "thing" down there that when you go fishing/take the boat out, that everyone is gonna race everybody that's out on the water that day? I think I can count on 1 hand the number of times I was fishing or just running and someone pulled up beside me giving that 'telltale' sign of Let's do the damn thing!
Just seems like every time some people get on the water, they "out ran this guy, this guy, this other boat and this guy ran by while I was fishing so I jumped behind the wheel and ran him down in a 1/8 mile".
Just thought things might be totally different down there than they are up here.

Tim, you are right. If you want to race everytime you go out buy a race boat. I bought a fishing boat.

I only had a boat the first year. The second year I was in a Ranger. But I was going fishing, not going racing.

Nope sho will push it with the right setup one is runnin 87 and one 89!!!!!!!!! Hard to believe from boats that only run 65 they as fast or faster than yours with a 300 and weigh 500 lbs more
