Bass Cat Boat VS Ranger

I was in a ranger with a 250 SHO and we flew right on by a basscat with a 250 SHO...........

But i will say this, I was impressed with the SHO..........still a mercury man but, the SHO went 3 hours down to venice and got me back safe in the Worst fog that I ever want to be in

Chase the SHO is the future of all motors, not just Yamaha, but from some of the people i talked to yesterday, the SHO is a very good motor.

When you get on plane at about 5000 rpms, it takes a little while to reach WOT at 5800-5900. Its not like a 2 stroke when you hammer down it gets to to 5800 but over all i was impressed with the SHO.

Might i remind you that you were in a Ranger.The same motor on the new 625 Blazer has a 4 second 0-30 hole shot.

No john, it got up real good but being a 4 stroke, it took it longer to reach 5800. I have been in a ranger with a 250 xs, its just its a four stroke

I have not been in one yet,just going off what others have said.There was a video floating around here awhile back with a SHO on a Stroker, that was very impressive, and did not seen to take long for that bad boy to get going.

It didnt have a hole shot , you just gave it the gas and it was on plane !!!!! For real no bow lift or nothin , straight on plane !!! That thang was fast as hell from 0-50 mph !!!!!!

Thats good Bump, now all you gotta do is figure out how to get it to do more than 30mph..
