I just replaced this last year when I installed new mounts. Now for something to do I decided to cut the 5 inches off the bottom of my exhaust can. The gasket appears to be fine.Can I reuse it and should I use a tad smear of high temp silicone if I do ? O and if your wonderin I just wanted the sound I have 2 stock cans if it is to noisy for me so I can go back to original.

Do NOT "re-use" a powerhead gasket. Ever.
Replace with correct gasket- and retorque powerhead EXACTLY as per the manual specifications (torque sequence and torque values are VERY critical to the life of your engine).
