That bass will eat EVERYTHING you put in there. I had a 2 1/2 pounder in my tank and it was pretty fun to watch him consume everything I would throw in there.

I have definately found that out over the past year. I caught this fish when it was merely ounces. I slapped it in an older tank I had and it has been very fun to have as a pet. It is strange realizing that fish, especially bass, have a real and quirky personality. We named this fish Whopper and it eats like crazy. If I could afford to keep feeding it, it can eat 50 medium sized feeder goldfish in three days.
put some crawfish in there and watch how he eats them. Feed him some night crawlers too for variety![]()

I actually put several live worms in the tank and the sorry sob would not touch them. I always thought that bass were supposed to go stupid over worms.
It usually takes em a little bit to get accustomed to their new surroundings. He'll be eatin in no time..![]()

Oh he eats, and boy does he eat. But for some reason he will not touch a worm or pellet. I guess he is just so used to eating the gold fish.

I had some in my pond and I could feed them hot dogs. I also had 3# bass eat 12" mullets.

What size tank is that? I want one!![]()
Looks great. A friend of mine has one with a bass in it, we fed it shiners one day, and that fish went wild. He ate unitl he had shiners coming out of his gills and was still trying to eat more.
I don't know how much the gold fish sell for, but shiners sell 10 for a dollar.
