    Is it worth it?

    I'm thinking of going to Venice Monday to try my luck. I was wondering how you think this cold weather is going to affect the bite?

    I have not been so i would not know.Most everyone is fishing or hunting today that why you have not had any responce's yet..

    I would go it takes some time to cool off that river water. The bite is too good this time of year to miss it. The fishing don't get tought till the river guage a New Orleans gets above 7' it's at 3.4 so your good to go you have about 18" tide range falling all morning.
