Psalms 51
Have mercy on me, o god, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blout out my trangressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin
For I know my transgressions and my sin is ever before me
Against you and only you I have sinned and done what is evil in your sight so that you my be justified in your words and blamless in your judgment.
This is just the begining of the psalm but I belive it kicks us wright in the seat of the pants.

Yes it does, Doug. David wrote that Psalm after his most memorable sin-his adultery with Bathsheba and then his murder by proxy of her husband. It points out that God's mercy and forgiveness is far reaching and that even the most chief of all sinners can be forgiven and receive eternal life. Thank God and have a blessed day-Eddie
