In the 70's it would have been a tow vehicle.

    Re: (rome258)

The new cummins is garbage. Had one in 07. 16000 miles it was in the shop 6 times. I got a 1500 voucher in the mail from dodge the other day apologizing for the problems wanting me to buy another claiming they worked all the bugs out. I'll tell a this. If they fixed it. That is one bad dude

You must have way different gearing. I am getting 16-18 in town and 12-14 towing my bullet. With my 2010 dodge. I also have a 2wd not 4

I had the 3.92 gears in my 07' Ram and it got about the same mileage.

    Re: (trizzle)

Cant'- 8 year 100 tho.mile warranty, dealer will void if they get a chance, besides you get real good results on diesles but not gas engines. About 4 years ago they were going to start producing1/2 ton diesle options but that was cancled hope they bring it up again I'd buy one for sure

    Re: (lasabre)

The ones they tested were getting that kind of mpg, They put one in a CTS (cady) Chry. 300 and a Jeep Grand Cher. and then comp. to gas and the diesles out performed in every test..
