I went fishing today and my trim decided to keep going up. I could override it with any of the trim switches but as soon as I would let it go it was going up again. I had to trim it down and disconnect the battery to make it in. Any ideas?

This happpened to me in a tournament some years ago, but I had a 200 Evinrude. If I remember right, it was a trim solenoid switch. I figured out which one and changed it myself.
Switch has moisture in it, or corrosion...

+1 moisture or wet switch. Let it dry and should be good to go
One of the trim switches in the boat is bad just keep unhooking them one at a time til you find the right one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If i had to guess i would start with the one at the bow!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna say the switch on the shifter
I would agree with mcgee, I would fix it soon mine got wet going down the highway in a rain storm guess what the motor darted coming up not good

nope 9 times out of 10 its the one on the bow or the one on the motor itself. i havent ever had to change one for myself or anybody on the shifter. even had a protrim and a couple floor trims i seen do it.
I bet it's not a switch at all. It is a trim relay. You should have two relay switches somewhere in the back of the boat. You should hear it click when you hit the switch. To check it, switch the relay switches and see if the trim down comes on.
Tap the relay with a wrench to make it stop. Then go buy two new relays.

I say trim relay. If you are right, you can tell people that your boat is faster than mine.
