    Re: opeloossa (lasabre)

We normally head up arround Monroe. you can try the basin. Head south on 49, then east on 10. Once you get past the Henderson exit you will be on the basin bridge. Take the first exit on the bridge, this is the rest area/ tourist information exit. There is an free public luanch. Watch out for the large Japanise carp, and the big gators.

    Re: (LSUZ)

all im gonna tell you is SLOW DOWN, GO SLOWER THAN WHAT YOU NORMALLY CALL SLOW fishing the scramble tommorow night well let yall know how we do , 2 things to remember bout chicot, its only 8.5 feet deep all the way across the lake, only the channel is deep, but there is no points or troughs that lead to the channel, all the creeks are silted up so the fish have no where to go to get cooler water, so you got to slow down and focus on shady cover, the second is its very pressured so think of what every fisherman throws everyday day in and day out and throw something different and change your retrieve drasticaly hope that helps, i dont catch fis every time there either but i fare pretty good. its hard to catch one over the slot so do panic

They see that skeeter coming and run for cover. On a serious note and being from Eunice i've only been a number of time. I'v had one great day out of those. But like other areas if it was closer i would fish it more and figure it out.
