Oil spill Efforts???!!??

Guys I feel for you and yours that live in and around this. Especially if you earn your living in or around the waters. BPs efforts have really made me sick as we are over a month into this and its still flowing..
$16 Billion in profits last year and an oil rig accident destroys the entire gulf!! You have to be kidding me! Sorry just had to rant..

This is what happens when you take the common sense out of the oilfield. Even know I'm not there, I can about imagine whats going on. Instead of taking suggestions from other oil companies or individuals, the engineers are stuck in meetings, wasting time writing procedures and being professional with absolutely NO sense of urgency. We have the same type of morons working for my company. I hate to be an azzhole and not stand behind BP in a time like this, but they have had long enough to come up with a plan.

I think YOUR president is going to make a fly over Friday. Bobby Jindal is pissed and he has to make a showing or the country will call it his Katrina.

I would bet on that-they sure can't stop the bleeding (spending) in Washington and that would be a heckuva lot easier than stopping the oil.

Re: Oil spill Efforts???!!?? (Bryan)

This is a disaster plain and simple. They need to start moving a little faster before it ruins everything we got as far as fishing and the wildlife. That includes the commercial fishermen also. The politicians will really start to squirm if this crap gets in the current and heads up the east coast. They need to stop BP from spraying that dispersant first of all. That crap is just making the oil break up very little and sink. I guess BP figures if the oil sinks it wont look as bad on TV. Personally I have had enough of this screwing around while they try to save the oil reserve down there. Like I said before if a hurricane comes through here we will all be screwed.
