I have a class B with airbrakes but I need a class A. I have my permit. I had a bad experience with a 3rd party tester about a year ago and now I think I have a phobia. Any advice? Or know someone?

Jeff i had a CDL for years,what test are you lookin to pass ?

Call around to some of the trucking companie, like Ace or Acme. See who they use.

i'll make a phone call and see who we used last and let you know. i have a class A CDL i took the test at a place on Sullivan rd. that was 15 years ago, i think they are closed.

Yeah. I got the study guide.I have s class B. I drive a 30 ton straight truck. I drive combination vehicles all the time. It's just that the first time I failed the class a test, the guy said I could go back and do any part that I forgot. I forgot to do the brake check. So when I went back in the cab to do it, he failed me. He said he didn't mean to say what he said. The second time I failed, a different guy was testing me in Greensburg. His buddy pulls up and the tester starts shoeing his buddy his new truck and told me to keep going with the test even though he wasn't near. Both testers tried to sell me on their school after the test. I'm looking for someone to test me that isn't looking to scam me. I have the list of testers from the DMV. Just wondering if anyone knows anyone that could help out a little more than these guys did for me.

will you have to do a pretrip inspection again? when i took it you had to name 75 parts now its like 120 and what they do. i have someone trying to find the paper work on the last guy that we used them to test. hopefully i'll know tomorrow
