    Re: lake concordia (trizzle)

There are when you get to the very north end. when you get to the last camp on the north end i would come off pad right before it. Other than that if you stay in the middle you can run and be ok. There are no boat lanes on that lake.

I've never been, but Kevin's description sounds right from what I have heard.

I'm still confused as to what to do. But I probably couldn't catch fish in the tanks at BPS with a cast net.

    Re: lake concordia (fritz20)

I used to fish Concordia three or four times a year until they took the slot off. I would suggest throwing a jig all day long on the cypress trees but it's been a long time since I've been there. Hate to fish docks but used to hear people catch good fish on them. Also the topwater bite used to be good with big spooks.

i would suggest a chug bug in the morning or if its cloudy, and a shakey head at the trees. if the water on the west bank is as clear in some parts as it was a few weeks ago, then move, the bass are swimming around and wont even look at your bait.

chug bug, chug bug is deadly, or a small buzzbait

Crickets work extremely well hint hint
plus there is a large supply of gizzard Shad.

Last I fished the hybrid stripper population had grown.

The fish should be in post spawn so plan for a tough bite after the sun gets up especially if there are no clouds.
