Game Warden just called

I hired two guys to haul some trash. Had two rental units to clear out. They told me they were taking it to the Ashland landfill south of Houma. Even asked for extra money for gas. When they were about halfway kthrough, they saw a guy in a garbage truck they know. He said if the trash is put on the street, he would pick it up first thing in the morning. The game warden called and said he found a place in the swamp about five miles from the storage units where they were dumping. An old book had a customers name in it. She gave the the warden the name of my business. They want to find the guys and ticket them for littering. I gave them the number I had. Hope they ticket them, but I hope their friend picks up the stuff by the road.

Ya just cant fix stupid.. I had some bone heads dump a load of old shingles,nails and all on the main road to my hunting lease. Took me about all day to clean up that mess. Wish i could catch them...

My BIL got a ticket from the game warden cause he had a garage sale and gave some things away and they ended up on the side of the levee. He couldn't remember what the guy's name was so the warden fined him.

Gave the game warden a written statement this afternoon. I had the name and number of one of the guys. The warden gave him a ticket. Said they dumped the trash right by the sign that says $3,000 fine for dumping. Dumb a$$. He claimed he was only the helper but doesn't want to give up his partner.

I learned a lesson. If I did not have the name and number of the guy I hired, it would have been on me. Next time, I won't get two scrap haulers to haul my trash.

There is a dump on 3127, you have to have a St.James Parish address to dump there.

The Lafourche dump is River Birch in Avondale. That's a long way.

I didn't realize that, never had that much to dump yet, I usually put it at the street and they pick it up, but I know your situation is different.

The parish won't pick up at businesses, you need a contract and a dumpster. Sometimes I will bring stuff to the house and they will pick it up.
