I do believe that Map Create 7 will give you the same thing that is on the unit already. So it's either Navionics chip or the Lowrance Fishing Hot Spot card. Navionics will have more contours.

I looked into this a lot when deciding on what card to get. it seems that map create is best for the south La marsh, but navionics better for toledo.

i have a section of south la from map create, but I did not have it for the toledo area. The base map for toledo is OK, but just doesn't cut it..

I have map create 6.3 and I do not see any contour lines.

Whoever made the Map Create card for you can change it to cover a multi-state area. You are only allowed to make 5 cards but can change and update as needed on cards already made.
