Man this fine weather and all the reports i am hearing suck. Anybody been to the marsh or delacroix????? What about old river in morganza????I am itching to go but have no clue where i want to go.

I've heard some good reports from Lake Guntersville just a little bit ago, but that is a pretty good drive......

I fished the east side of lake verret,from bayou corne into bayou alcide yesterday, dont waste your time there.

I bet the cuts were bleeding some clean water this past weekend in Bayou Black.

You need to go to the Cat.Plenty fish there even when the big-uns dont bite you can catch a bunch of 12-14 in bass.If not there then Bayou Black would be my next choice.

I'm guessing the water will be coming back up in the next few days with the north wind laying down. BB will probably suck this week. You never know til you try though.

I went to bayou black today. We kept 12 decent fish. Probably caught 30 or so. Fished the penchant area around the piquante. Just found moving water on points and there was fish everywhere we stopped.

I went exploring trying to get to Spanish lake from carnavron. Couldt get
through orange bayou. Just went back to big mar in the canal
and caught 5 bass one decent. 4 gar. Oh yeahh and 2 reds in lery.
And 1 red in grand lake.

I went thru there in July there is alot marsh grass in the canal in places don't know how much water there was but the lillies wasn't bad yet eather.

I didn't see any lillies or grass. The bayou was less than a foot deep. I should
have went to the north of grand lake by the canals I saw on the map. Maybe
there was grass or lillies where water filtered through the swamp. ??

You can't get off pad in orange bayou. You just have to stay on top in their and you will be fine.

You have that right. There are some areas where they dug it out but I wasn't stoping. There is not much water in Spanish lake either there is marsh grass sticking up in there and there wasn't much grass only cought fish where water was draining into the lake. Most fish was cought in Sun Lagoon.
