HELLO GENTS, DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY ON THE WATER FUEL PUMPS IN HOUMA? I'M RUNNING FROM BAYOU BLACK TO SEGENETTE AND MY BOAT HOLDS 48 GALLONS. (RANGER 519 W/ 200 OPTI) THIS WILL BE MY FIRST TIME MAKING THIS RUN AND I'M A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT FUEL.

when i would make long runs i would just bring gas with me.It will save you alot of time.Should not take over 48 Gals to make that run from Bayou Black.Bring one can and you should be good,bring 2 cans and you wont have to worry. ( 5 Gal cans )

Save yourself the long ride. There are enough areas closer to bobs that you can win a tourney out of.

The Last 3 tournaments i know about were over 18 lbs twice and 1 over 20 lb stringer.Not gonna beat that at Bayou Black this time of yearIf you run to the Cat you can win it there.

I'll say this it's been tuff over here 8.31# won last Wed turny. Week before we had 19lbs 12oz and only managed 2 fish this past Wed. Fishing may pickup you could Call the Flemming canal store about fuel they are right at the top of Barataria waterway by the Intercoatal on the left hand side if you can't bring fuel.
