I posted a picture several weeks ago, a fish that was caught here on Caddo Lake that went 14.98 pounds... Well this one was caught just to the Northeast of Caddo, Saturday in a Church tournament and was taken and weighed on certified scales at Reeves Marine in Bossier City and she went a WHOPPING 15.82 Pounds !!! WOW WHAT A FISH !!! She is being kept in their holding tank for a couple weeks if anyone is interested in going to see her. Just wanted to share !!

some tournaments you just could keep that one and throw the other four back cause you just would not need them

Wow...I can't even imagine....

They weighed an 11+ fish on the 1st day of the FOM national championship on the Red River too last Thursday. That's a HUGE river fish.

Yeah, i'm hoping she will live being in captivity, and from the looks of her i dont believe she had spawned yet. They need to get her back in the water to let her share her genetics with the rest of the world !! I sure hope the guy that caught her doesnt let her go to BPS. There was a big fish caught by a local guide up here in the red river that was over 13 pounds and he took her to BPS and when he put her in their tank, she became the property of BPS. NOW MY QUESTION WAS " DIDNT MY TAX DOLLARS, LICENSE FEES, ETC ETC ETC... pay for that fish to remain free instead of being held in their in store tank ??? Hope everyone had a great weekend of fishing !!

That's right Aaron-but wasn't he sponsored in some part by BPS? Unfortunately, $$$ speaks louder than what is right a lot of times-IMO.

Hey Saint did you make it up there? I went and met Jim and Greg Friday night, but with the bad weather decided to go home Saturday.

Yes he was sponsored and now that i think about it, that's one of the reason's why they took possesion of it, but it still doesnt change the fact that all of our license fees, taxes, etc etc etc... put that fish in the river and made it possible to be caught..!! She spawned about 2 weeks ago in the tank and her offspring should be raised and released back into the river, if they arent gonna release her
