Re: need help on blind river (teammjr)

We might try it this weekend. Haven't done much since the hurrincanes, but they did release all of the CMN tourney fish into the Blind River.

If you are fishing a tx cross the lake to ruddock manchac areas. fish a blk/gld rogue under the interstate in the 51 canals and fish a blk/blu/org jig on opposite bank. try throwing the jig on the bank and slowly drag it into the water and watch for the mud to boil. i havent been this year but those are usually the best patterns for me.

Aug. 11, that will be tough. Dog days and all of the boat traffic.

I used to catch some nice bass in Bayou Conway that time of year. Just after the camps when you turn in from blind river.

Them guys from Lutcher and Gramercy will have eaten those fish way before August.
I'd try Petit Amite that time of year, has been years but we've caught a few in that area in the summer months.

fishing aug 11th and cant cross the lake i'd stay home simply cause of the boat traffic. after about 10 am gonna be hard to fish anywhere on the rivers and bayous right there.
