Lake st John

Has anyone caught any fish on st john this year ? Im thinking about going there this weekend , and Ive never been there , so any advice is appreciated .

Its pickin up...all the lakes are about to explode the next 2 weeks...shallow-a-rama...bite-a-topia!
I will be there the 8th for an event...no clubs I know there the next 4 Saturdays...
Black River lake for a couple of clubs the 7th and 14th...

With the weather warming the rest of the week St. John is gonna be hot Friend of mine was out Tuesday evening and had 19 in 5hrs. Best 5 around 21lbs. Go before March 8th, you'll need your own tree to chunk at that day. Good luck
