    des allemands

    heard there was a monster stringer caught in des allemands this weekend. anyone else heard this and got any info?

    I don't about that but we had our club tury in Lafitte this past Sunday and one member had 10.7# with 4 fish 5# big fish 2 of his fish weight 8.7# and his partner had 14.6# 5 fish big fish 5# 3 of his fish weight 12.5#. There best 5 combined 21.2# and I only managed to have 3 @ 4.9#. We fish Bayou Black next month thats going to be real fun.

    Ok just got of the phone with my buddy and it is true. Something like 37lb stringer with a 10.1, 10.3 and another hog also.

    yep that is hard to believe, but my buddy swears it's true. I even told him to put down the crack pipe when he told me about it

    I heard the same thing and I didn't believe it either. Then a friend of mine told me that he saw the pictures of the "two 10's" that were caught. I should get to see the pictures today. There was also a 9lb caught in the same area by another person while scouting for a tournament two weeks ago.

    The stringer was caught by Steve Rottweiller & it was out of Des Allemands...2 fish over 10lbs.

    Congrats to Steve he has always been a friendly guy every time I have talked to him. Not to mention a heck of a fishermen. Steve was the guy that helped Davy Hites with some prefishing for the Classic he won in New Orleans years ago.
