I have heard of no such recall (or situation).
As a matter of fact, I've not run across any repetitive issues with fuel line leaks.

I have a buddy who last a motor due to an oil line leak. a couple months ago. Mercury refused the waranty at first and then changed their mind and sent him a new motor. The devil is in the details of course.
