Well I had to replace another coil on my 08 250XS. This is the second one this year and I guess I'll have to take it back to the shop 4 more times until all of them have been replaced. I just think Mercury should just man up and replaced them all and it would save me the time, money and trouble of having to take it back every couple months until they are all chanded out. I'm not very happy right now.
Sorry to hear that! Hopefully the dealer will get you straightened out promptly.
Recommend testing CPS (crankshaft position sensor) to ensure 200 or more ohms resistance... and inspection of coil harness for loose pins/bad wires.
