I fished the last day of the season last year, and caught some nice fish. There was actually some water to get around the marsh as well. Hopefully they've maintained some of that over the winter. If so, it should be on like a neck bone!

Troy don,t they have a horsepower limit and you have to slide your boat over some rollers ? Last time I fished it was in the 70,s. Used to catch some nice white perch in Lacassine bayou and the south bank of Lil' Lake Misere. Loved that curvey little boat ride from the intracoastal canal to lake Misere. TBJ

Jim, they actually built roads into the impoundment, so you launch right into it now. No more rollers.

There is a 25 hp. limit.

I need to get with Buster and figure out how many little rigs we can get together to make a trip in there. I can put up 4 or 5 guys at my house, and it's just a short drive from here.

Something we need to look into.

I have access to a alluminum hull with a 25.

Nothing wrong with that, not like anyone is going to check the displacement. You may want to scratch out the model # though just in case the game warden thinks your going to fast.

Actually I own three with 25's but I could Borrow another two By the way Troy, I'll be there friday night awaiting opening day Saturday. Call me if you are going.
