    RED FISH

My brother in law is in from Brazil. Where can I take him to catch a few reds? Was thinking Boudreaux Canal or Point Aux Chein.

    Re: RED FISH (BARRY J)

If your boat is big enough (18-19') go to a shallow, manned offshore platform at night. The bull reds under the lights are THICK!!! You don't have to go far, just find one with lights.

It really doesn't matter Barry. If you go the day after the cold front when the tide is very low, the reds will be piled up in almost every pipline canal in both areas. My grandpa has been hammering the reds, north of Lake Boudreaux. It's that time of year!

    Re: RED FISH (Rocket MaN)

Left Thibodaux about 730. We went to Falgout Canal and fished the lake. Caught about 20 trout. Went across the lake to Superior and caught 8 or 9 reds.
