Had a great weekend, went racing, that got cancelled do the equipment failure at the track (not mine) went to the Chapman Car show yesterday and did their parade and had a great time.

Had a great Saturday in Manhattan watching the game, Sunday turned out to be a lazy do nothing day, Monday we tried dove hunting but resorted to shooting clays. Way too windy to ever get the boat on the water... Maybe some evening this week.

Took wife to Banner Creek Sat. morning and we did pretty good. Wife had one a little over 4# and all together we caught about 15 bass with several nice ones. We went home about 1:00 PM to get ready to go to the Washburn football game. To windy the other days to venture out. Larry Brumley
went to banner Creek on Sunday. Larry was right, it was WINDY !!! had a great buzz bait till around 1000 in the coves out of the wind. probably 12-15 total with 3 good keepers. There were maybe a dozen other boats on the lake.
Forgot one item - had an owl try to take my buzz bait. pretty cool to watch it make gun runs on the lure. I'm not sure what's the creel limit on owls !!!

Worked Sat...sunday and monday been dealin with my little guy bein sick...man i hate it when hes sick...i didnt get hardly a wink of sleep last night and im bout beat...hopefully hes feelin better today ill see when i pick him up from the sitters
Drove to Nebraska. Shot prairie dogs and caught a bunch of raindow trout(with the kids) from a pond. Drank beer and shot more prairie dogs. Then got the dreaded phone call about grandpa and drove home.
