Looking for some place to fish this weekend with no pleasure boaters. Any suggestions?
How about Miami St fishing lake? Can you run the big motor there? Is it on paved road? I don't want to pull the boat over gravel roads.

Do they allow pleasure boaters on La Cygne?
No. La Cygne was my first choice actually but looking at the fishing report posted yesterday for Miami I thought it might be nice since I've never been there.
I've been told the road is not paved and is very rough. I have never been there myself, but a friend has been there and that is what he reported. I think he said it was 3 miles or so of bad road.

come on down and fish with me![]()
Miami is definitely a rough 3 mile stretch of gravel roads. Try Pleasanton or Mound City lake. Never been but have been told they are great also.
Someone mentioned do not try it if it is wet / narrow one lane road?
One guy said, his boat traler bottomed out on one of the deep ruts after a rain??
