    Turkey Hunting and Pond Fishing

Thanks to my buddy Bob J (FSH4EVR) for taking me to his honey hole yesterday. We turkey hunted in the morning and as per the norm Bob called in a beautiful bird and I didn’t get the shot off. I think I’ll just start pulling the trigger and emptying the gun from here on out because if there’s lead in the air there’s hope, right?
After the hunt we spent a couple of hours at his secret pond where we proceeded to catch 34 slab crappie for the skillet and released nearly that many more. We also caught about 30 feisty little pond bass. I really have to say that I am truly blessed to have a friend like Bob who shares so much with me. Thanks Bob!
