Not the greatest way to end the waterfowl season

At least the regular season. 2 of us ended up with 4 geese. We coulda easily shot our limits plus some but we wanted them to really finish nice with their feet down in the decoys at 25 yards. We ended up shooting 3 of them overhead at 30 yards as they circled, not what I really like to do. The last one was shot in front of the blind with its feet down.

We banged the geese pretty good this season. Probably my 2 or 3rd best season on geese. Had some great hunts around xmas time and some good ones the past month or so as well. Duck season was horrible around these parts. Started out at Jamestown and that ended up the best hunt of the season probably.

Now its onto the spring snows. Should be a great season for them.

Dad and I were talking about that today too. My goose season was pitiful at best. We only had 1 real good hunt and a few other decent ones. Shot some geese duck hunting too. Duck season was alright, but a far cry from 2 years ago...Owell, got some good time with friends and family. Can't wait for Talon to go with me.

Naw works over rated. I got the permission from the wife to quit work and got to work part time somewhere if I want.

Gonna get after the snows then take some time off and around July start getting stuff ready to go again. Gotta buy me a Mo marsh layout boat this summer. Maybe some new bibs and gloves as well.

    Jack,
Here you are shooting geese all season, and you never called me! I went a few times though. Never could get any to decoy up. Guess my calling still sucks. Plus it was public stuff.

Had a great looking spot all lined up. Geese were camped out for a month. Went out to hunt em, and they had headed to other parts. What a bummer.

Time to look forward to turkey season and bass fishing. Think I'm going to sell the SeaArk. Make ya a great duck hunting boat!

Casey I guess I figured you were just too busy with school and paying parking tickets .

I have a nice 16ft Xpress duck boat. You might see if Dukhntr on here is interested.

But, if it were me I'd keep the SeaArk and use it for fishing up the feeder creeks and stuff. Thats where the best bass fishing is.

We are going to get on the spring snows if your interested.

Actually decided to take a semester off to regroup. No parking tickets for me. Is that what you heard my name on the radio for? Never had anything on my windshield????

Forgot you had a duck boat already. I'm still looking for a good deal on a Basscat, but the SeaArk will have to go. No room for two, although I'll miss her.

Where you hunting snows at? I'd be interested in getting in on some that action.
