Both Laura and her husband Richard, are members of Flint Hills Bassmasters in Topeka.
Richard has taken over our youth club and has really started to get things rolling.
They are both good fishermen, and have been a real asset
to our club. (You should see the affect Laura, and her boat have on the kids at youth events).
I saw her at a gas station in Topeka once but had no clue who she was. Now I know.
Laura is a very nice Lady,, she's always at the youth events whan she can be,, her and Richard are a Big Plus for the Youth events.. they are always willing to help out when ever they Can

Not sure how many of you may be curious, but since BASS has yet to post
Day one standings I thought I would give everyone an update. As of the
end of Day one Laura is currently in 16th place. She is one of only 7
pro's to catch a limit yesterday. Her co-angler also had a limit
yesterday (one of only 3). I think she said her co is currently in 5th.
The limits were not very big. Her bigger fish just did not cooperate
yesterday.

It shows she moved up to 14th on day two.I don't know where and if they have a cutoff but hopefully she'll keep moving on up!
Found it! Top twenty fish on Saturday! She needs two bites like Judy Wong got today and she'll be right in there!
Well it's over and looks like she cracked the top ten!
