    Oil line ?

225 ProXS the oil line going for the 3gal res. to the motor mounted res. there is a brass T between the 2 tanks inside the motor. Is this a place for an oil pressure gauge or is there another line that im not seeing that hooks up there? I looked all over but cant find any hoses that will hook up too it. If its a place for a gauge can i remove the T and put a coupleing there? thanks Randall

Re: Oil line ? (PRO XS Skeeter)

Do NOT remove the "Tee". It is a check valve... and fitting you see as "blank" is that way INTENTIONALLY.

The purpose of the check valve is to allow air to enter into the line, so that the engine can continue to consume the oil in the engine mounted oil tank (in the event of an oil restriction, or lack of oil in the boat oil tank).

Do not plug, or connect anything to this "blank nipple" on the "Tee".
