    My Bighill tx

Well fished my first tx. It was wind was insane Was only able to put one fish in the boat to weigh in, but some didn't Even do that, so at least I didn't come up empty handed.

the tx got pretty expensive when I was going about 35mph IN THE MARKED boat lane and hit a stump hard enough to knock the cowling off the motor

Bent the prop shaft going to call insurance this morning and get it to the shop, I have more fishing to be done

In all I had a great time and will do it again

Sorry to hear about your boat.

As for markings on the boat lanes. The main boat lane heading north from the Mound Valley(Dam) ramp only has 2 of the 5 floating markers left in the lane, it is the first 2.
After Timber Hill heading north as you go through the 2-4 big trees there is a new stump that I never seen before, at least for the last 2 years. It was marked by a big milk jug a couple of weeks ago. I bet this is where he hit the stump??

that's right where I was just started into the trees and WHAM!!!!!

Just talked to Insurance, I only have a 250 deductible and looks like it should cost around 700 for the parts and labor. should be fixed up within 10 days or so

Hurricane just posted that there are new markers in the lane now. I was going off 2 weeks ago info, I'm glad they put new ones in.
