    The new depth finder install

Never got around to posting pic's of the new unit we installed on the Champ. First holes I've drilled in a boat; not easy on the nerves but everything turned out perfect

Awesome deal. I have decided it is time for a couple upgrades in the electronics end of the boat myself. I just can't decide whether I want to get HDS10's or HDS8's..... either way it is alot of damn money but I haven't hardly touched anything on my boat since I bought it in 00.

Sure like the looks of that transducer bracket being metal rather than the plastic base that comes with the 797 and 798. Good install.....you'll love it. I like Lowrance, but I have to say the screen on my 797 is very, very readable in all kinds of lighting conditions. Have fun with it, and post some SI pics. Have you been to the Yahoo HB group? If you're interested, I can shoot you the link. Good job!

Put a chip in the unit, read the chip on your computer. Hooking the computer up's a pain!
