Don't think I like to see road kill of pets!! The pet survived as far as I know.

I'm on HWY 400 heading to Pittsburg around 5:30pm, I'm follow a KIA Sportage and trying to pass. They were only doing 50 mph. About 1 1/2 miles from the intersection of 400 & 169 a cat runs in front of the KIA from the ditch. The KIA locks them up, smoke from the tires and all. I think 'Oh $hit' and starting looking for a soft spot to land. I see the cat spin, flip & roll into the next lane. It gets up runs around in circles a couple of times then runs into the left ditch and up to the yard and house to my left.
The KIA starts going again. At 400 & 169 there is a stop light, the KIA was turning right and moves to right lane. I'm going left and move to left lane right beside the KIA. I hold up 9 fingers to the KIA and when the female driver looks at me I drop 1 finger leaving 8. I say the words "8 lives now." I look at the women and passenger and they are both blawing their eyes out. I'm sure my face went oh $hit again as I turned left.

I think that is funny...I am sure the darn cat survived the ordeal. But women are so soft hearted they would kill themselves and run off the road to save an animal. I wish I could convince my wife that her life is much more important than a cat/dog/deer/possum. Atleast no one was seriously injured!
