    Walleyes

    Has anyone been catching any Walleyes? Crappie? I'm going to give either Hillsdale or Melvern a try in a couple weeks.

    Caught a couple walleyes last night. Pretty slow...but I'm not very good at catchin walleyes, so...

    Was at Hillsdale on Fri night. The dam was packed. I fished the spillway and caught 10 crappie, 6 of them were over 11". I'm going to guess that the walleyes are coming up at night with all of the boats and people fishing the dam. Good luck if you go. They are talking like we are going to be cold (43 for a high on Sat) and a chance of snow .

    I've heard they are catching a lot of big Walleye at Cheney.

    I was at hillsdale last thursday night, a few walleyes were rolling along the dam but it's still a little early for the mass migration. Water temp was around 46.

    they are moved up right now water temp was 54 degrees
    Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
